SAINT-PIERRE DE VARENNES: Stéphanie and Pierrick sealed their love

Their already grown-up Ninon aged 14, but also their two twins Louna and Luisa aged 6, fruits of their love, were their privileged witnesses this Saturday afternoon at the town hall of Saint-Pierre de Varennes.
It was indeed this Saturday that Stéphanie Antunes and Pierrick Forest decided, after 17 years of living together, to get married in the presence of their families and friends. Stéphanie is a hairdresser and works on rue Marceau in Le Creusot where she was born on April 9, 1984. Pierrick is a workshop manager at SPIE. He was also born in Le Creusot on December 30, 1987.

It was Gérard Durand, mayor of the commune, who presided over the wedding ceremony. The official witnesses in the eyes of the law were Cédric Antunes, Romain Bretaire, Anaïs Viéira and Marie-Élise Puch. The couple has lived in the commune since 2009 in the Hauts Champs housing estate. “A first meeting took place in a nightclub but it was in 2007 that the alchemy worked, Pierrick was 19 and Stéphanie 22, and it has now lasted for 17 years…” said Gérard Durand with a smile. We later learned that Pierrick proposed at the Eiffel Tower and that the date chosen for the wedding (June 29) was a tribute to Pierrick’s father, on Saint Peter’s Day. After reading the documents recalling the rights and duties of the spouses, the exchange of consents in the presence of their witnesses, the bride and groom, their witnesses and the mayor signed the civil marriage register.
