After several days of very good weather, temperatures will drop and rain will return. And stormy episode is planned in the Aisne department, which could have repercussions on the Avesnes-sur-Helpe sector.
Scattered rain will appear this Saturday June 29 evening until Monday July 1 in the Lille sector, which will be cloudy.
Thunderstorms could break out, but more towards the south of the department.
This is what the Météo France bulletin says for our Hauts-de-France region:
“In addition to the departments on orange alert, namely Marne and Ardennes, the Aisne department could also be affected by intense thunderstorm activity in the late afternoon and evening. Under these storms, we could possibly find quite strong rainfall intensities, accompanied by hail.
Accumulated rainfall in the space of 3 hours could reach 15 to 20 mm in the evening, particularly on the eastern borders of Aisne, or even possibly into the interior of the departments, thus bringing the cumulative amounts to 30/40 mm over the ‘episode. It is not excluded to have these accumulation values in the center of the region in a more localized manner.
Rainstorm activity is expected to continue in the second part of the night from Saturday to Sunday. Particular vigilance is required.”
