Yunis Abdelhamid has reached an agreement with AS Saint-Étienne, promoted to Ligue 1. The Moroccan central defender, whose contract with Reims, where he spent seven seasons, is due to end, is expected to sign on Monday 1is July for one year, plus one year optional, reveals The Team.
More than 200 matches in Ligue 1
At 36 years old, the former Valenciennes and Dijon player, more than 200 matches in the first division, more than 450 professional matches, is about to offer himself a new challenge at the highest level.

Abdelhamid, who had other offers in France and abroad, will undergo his medical examination in Saint-Étienne. Reims had decided in February not to extend it.
