D-50 before the official resumption of the championship and its opening for the Racingmen traveling to Montpellier on the first day. But right now, it’s not time to think about it. With a stadium and a team still under construction, there remains more than a month of preparation. To gradually return to the level and plan towards recovery, the club had already announced six friendly matches. In an interview this morning for BFM Alsace, President Keller announced that all these matches will be broadcast on the local channel. For the first time in history, these RCSA friendly matches will be visible in full on television. Usually live on Youtube, often with fairly reduced visibility, this year that will not be the case. As said, these pre-season matches via the operator and digital box channels of BFM Alsace as well as on the RMC BFM Play platform. And to further increase its visibility in France, it will also be possible to watch the matches on the RMC Sport Twitch and YouTube channels.

A club initiative

“We have been preparing abroad for years, and we absolutely want our supporters to be able to follow the matches. Our teams worked with BFM Alsace to reach this conclusion. I am very happy because it allows all our supporters to prepare for the season with these matches that we will play,” declared President Keller to the local Alsatian media. In addition to this, due to the ongoing work at the stadium, no matches are planned in the Meinau home this summer. Probably no supporters’ day either. Followers of the Bleu et Blanc club will then have to wait until the second day of the championship and the reception of Stade Rennais on the weekend of August 25 to return to their stadium. An eternity for them who will not see the Meinau in match configuration since the last home match of last season, on May 12 against Metz (2-1).

But don’t panic, Racing Club de Strasbourg will be back on the pitch next Thursday, during their training camp in Austria, with a match against TSV 1860 München, a 3.Liga resident in Germany.
