Once again, LeBreton Plains Park will be the hub of celebrations in Canada’s Capital Region this Monday, July 1! Many activities will be offered from 9 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. Visit the Canada Day website to discover the entire program.

Canada Day: Follow the rhythm!
To get the crowd going, the pre-show will begin at 7 p.m. ET with the upbeat rhythms of DJ Miss Shelton, to then give way to the evening show “Canada Day: Follow the Rhythm!” » from 8 p.m. (ET). The celebrations will end in style under a lit sky with the Tim Hortons Canada Day fireworks, starting at 10 p.m. (ET).

On stage, we will find Chromeo, Crow, FouKi, Diet, Pocket, Maestro Fresh Wes, Metric, Neon Dreams, Notorious Cree, The Qattuu, Sara Dufour et Willows. Isabelle Racicot will be back to host this free 2-hour concert bringing together music enthusiasts from one end of the country to the other.

Live from Parc des Plaines-LeBreton, the evening show will be broadcast on ICI Télé, CBC Television, ICI TOU. TV, Radio-Canada.ca and CBC Gem (in English only) starting at 8 p.m. (Eastern time).

Also not to be missed
The lunch ceremony, featuring Marie-Mai et Bedouin Soundclash, will kick off the national festivities. It will highlight important anniversaries and themes while celebrating the diversity of our country. This will also be an opportunity to see the Royal Canadian Air Force Centennial Flypast on Canada Day.

Live from Parc des Plaines-LeBreton, the noon ceremony will be broadcast on ICI RDI, ICI Télé, ICI TOU. TV, CBC and CBC Gem (in English only) starting at 11:30 a.m. (Eastern time).
