The final of the Top 14 championship between Toulouse Stadium et the Bordeaux-Bègles Union takes place this Friday evening (9:05 p.m.) at the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille. The UBB rugby players are competing in the first final in the history of the club born in 2006 (from the merger of Stade Bordeaux and the Bordeaux Bègles Gironde Athletic Club). The players from Stade Toulousain, reigning French champions, have already won the Brennus Shield 22 times. They are aiming for the European Cup – Top 14 double this season. Stade Toulousain indeed won its 6e Champions Cup face au Leinster on May 25. For his part, UBB intends to beat the odds which make Stade Toulousain the favourites for this match.
