Scammers are currently rampant in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir). Several residents have in fact filed a complaint after being victims of fraudulent canvassing, reports - Chartres.

“People claiming to be employed by/or working on behalf of Chartres Métropole or the City of Chartres are offering to place a chip on the wheeled bins intended for waste collection in exchange for a sum of money”indicates Chartres metropolis on its Facebook page. The administrators must obviously not give anything to these false agents.
