LEBLANC FUNERAL HOME informs you of the death, on June 24, 2024, of Mr. Gérald V. Cyr. He was 90 years old and a resident of Étang-du-Nord, in the Magdalen Islands.
He was the husband of Mrs. Lucienne Leblanc, the father of Lise (Longin), Raynald (Huguette), Lucie (Frédéric), Jacinthe (Robert) and Thérèse (Robert). He had eight grandchildren: Véronique, Pierre-Jacques, Gabriel, Guillaume, Alexandra, Victor, Fanny and Antony, and five great-grandchildren: Jade, Charles, Florence, Adrienne and Théodore. He was the brother of Antoine, Rodrigue and Georges, as well as Arnold, Edmond, Jérémie, René and Rose-May, deceased. He also leaves to mourn his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, parents and friends.
The family will receive you at the Cap-aux-Meules funeral home on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The funeral of Mr. Gérald V. Cyr will be celebrated on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at 4 p.m., at the Saint-Pierre church in La Vernière and, from there, at the local cemetery.
On Thursday, July 4, the day of the funeral, the salon will open at noon. Your expressions of sympathy can include a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
