The CISSS de la Côte-Nord announces that work will begin on July 2 at the main entrance of the hospital at 45, rue du Père-Divet in Sept-Îles. This work will hinder access to the building and will impact traffic in the drop-off area over the coming months.

The aim of this work is to make the main entrance to the hospital accessible for users and staff with reduced mobility. The project consists of an expansion to integrate a new personnel elevator which will provide a universally accessible route, from the landing stage to the landing on the ground floor of the hospital.

Entrance sometimes closed

Access interruptions to the main entrance will be required intermittently to allow work to be carried out and ensure the safety of everyone near the site. Users must follow the instructions that will be put in place during the duration of the work.

During periods when access to the main entrance will be prohibited, the population is invited to use the entrance at the corner of avenue De Quen and rue du Père-Divet. At this time, signage will be in place to direct traffic from other entrances to the hospital.

The management of the Integrated Health Centre says it is aware of the inconvenience caused by this situation. The CISSS de la Côte-Nord thanks the population for its cooperation.
