Two years after its acquisition, the Cuisine Plus brand in Vannes has recorded very positive results

Cuisine Plus: the strength of a highly regarded national network

Is it still necessary to present Cuisine Plus? In the collective unconscious, this interior design specialist serves as a real reference. The first reason comes from the quality of its materials which come from the best manufacturers. The brand sources from three major German brands, thus allowing the creation of factory-assembled and custom-made kitchens, right down to the color!

The second is based on the know-how of its installation employees, who are qualified to install all solutions that meet the highest standards. It should be noted that Cuisine Plus does not only offer its customers kitchens. It also provides them with dressing rooms, bathroom furniture, outdoor kitchens, etc.

Today, the brand enjoys such notoriety that it has more than sixty stores present throughout the national territory. It has also been voted, on several occasions, for best customer service of the year.

The Cuisine Plus brand in Vannes has joined the oldest franchise network

Among the many Cuisine Plus brands, some have enjoyed a longer lifespan than others. This is particularly the case for those located in La Roche-sur-Yon, Nantes, Saint-Nazaire and Cholet. All four have been under the responsibility of the JMG family group, originally from Vendée, for many years. This is what Julien Gloria, the Group’s manager, explains to us:

“We are part of one of the oldest Cuisine Plus franchise networks. We will celebrate our 40th anniversary next year.”

And it is precisely this network that the Vannes store joined in 2022.

“I bought the Vannes brand just 10 days after the previous owner was forced to liquidate his business.” explains Julien.

If the young entrepreneur made this choice, it was with full knowledge of the facts, convinced of the potential of the Vannes sector and, more broadly, of the Morbihan department. Because if the store was facing a major crisis at the time, it was not due to a drop in notoriety or a clientele who had lost faith in the brand. The problem stemmed from poor management by the previous owner.

“Cooking is such an attractive market that it is targeted by many investors. Unfortunately, it is not enough to have the financial means to succeed and win. Most do not succeed because they do not master all the subtleties and technical aspects specific to the sector. »

When he heard about the store’s difficulties, Julien decided to act quickly, not wanting this situation to harm the brand’s image in the Morbihan department. It was barely 10 days after the previous owner left that he took over the reins of the store. And the least we can say is that he rose to this challenge with flying colors.

Firstly, he made sure that none of the former clients were forgotten.

“We ensured that all orders, made under the direction of the previous owner, were delivered on time. We absolutely wanted none of them to lose a cent of their deposit. »

Following this, he decided to strengthen the team within the brand.

“We selected a new store manager and, in consultation with him, we chose to recruit purebred Bretons, familiar with the sector. »

Cuisine Plus in Vannes, a store that is doing very well

The least we can say is that the many efforts that have been mobilized have borne fruit. You only have to see the friendly and warm atmosphere that now reigns in the premises and, of course, the good financial health of the store to be convinced. The results are more than positive.

“By buying the brand in Vannes, I was driven by an ambition, that of preserving the image of the brand in a sector where it already enjoyed a very good reputation. Today, more than preserving it, we have strengthened it. I would like to thank all the men and women who agreed to accompany me on this adventure, without whom this objective would not have been achievable. »

JMG, a franchisee whose history is intrinsically linked to cuisine

The Cuisine Plus store in Vannes could not have hoped for a better buyer than JMG. This 100% family-owned Group appeared on the Vendée scene in 1985. Very quickly, it was able to establish itself in a sector that was already very competitive at the time: the kitchen. As Julien points out:

“We have been cooking in the family for 40 years. We were even the first to capitalize on the Cuisine Plus brand when it was just entering the market. Suffice it to say that we no longer have much to learn from this environment. »

Julien took over from his father at just 22 years old. An entrepreneur at heart, he has invested in many brands, aware of their potential, in order to lead them on the path to success. His latest success: the takeover of the Cuisine Plus store in Vannes, which has never been doing so well since 2022.

“Today, I am 37 years old and I intend to be around for many more years to spread the name Cuisine Plus throughout the Morbihan region.”
