Snow is currently falling in abundance in Paris on Thursday, November 21, 2024, as evidenced by the green area on the radar image below. This snow disturbance, clearly visible on Infoclimat radars, also affects Méru and the south of the Oise department, where the soils are starting to whiten under a snow cover which is gradually thickening. Notably, this snow extends much further north than initial forecasts had envisaged.
Up to 10 cm of snow on some roads?
Residents of Oise should therefore expect significant accumulations in the coming hours, which could reach and even exceed 10 cm on certain roads. This snowfall could impact traffic throughout the department, despite the fact that the Oise has not yet been placed on orange alert by the authorities.
We recommend extreme caution if you have to take the road this evening or tomorrow morning, as conditions could quickly deteriorate. Make sure you prepare your trips well and adapt your driving to these exceptional winter conditions.
The Beauvais Observer will keep you informed in real time of developments in the situation in Oise.
