Every time it appears, it transforms our landscapes. The TF1 1 p.m. video above compiles beautiful images of the snow that has fallen over part of France since Thursday morning. First the Palace of Versailles and the royal residences on the banks of the Loire sprinkled with snowflakes, a white coat which brings a touch of magic which amazes. “It doesn't happen every day, it enhances the castle, it makes us discover new spaces“, enthuses an employee of the Domaine national de Chambord. The French gardens and their reliefs are as if enhanced by this touch of white.
On the rooftops of Paris, in front of the Sacré-Cœur, it floats like the scent of Christmas. A few kilometers away in Essonne, walkers encountered by one of our teams are in a good mood. “My daughter must be delighted, I can't wait to see her this evening to get her comments on this snow which must have fallen on her school“, confides a father. “Me, I like snow, I find it funny, but it's a little annoying all the same because we're not used to it“, says another.
