The new French series from TF1, adapted from the famous manga by Tsukasa Hōjō, is already crowned with success, with first episodes which are close to peak audience figures. But is a season 2 already planned for Cat’s Eyes ?
They run across the rooftops of Paris in complete discretion, ready to steal any painting in a flash, to discover the truth about their father, who died several years ago: since November 11, 2024, a new version of the Cat’s Eyes enchants Monday evenings on TF1. It must be said that the French channel has invested the largest budget in its history on this series, namely 25 million euros.
A risky bet, but one that pays off since the adaptation of the manga and the animated series from the 1980s is a huge success, to the point that TF1 decided to change its broadcast schedule. So, while waiting for episodes 5 and 6 of Cat’s Eyesscheduled for November 25 on television, it is time to ask ourselves an essential question: will we find Camille Lou, Constance Labbé and Claire Romain for a season 2?
When is season 2 coming out? Cat’s Eyes ?
We already have excellent news for fans of Tamara, Alexia and Sylia: the three sisters will indeed return for a season 2. The media Télé 7 Jours even announced it in November 2023, while filming of Cat’s Eyes was still in progress. Our colleague revealed that the three main actresses of the series, Camille Lou, Constance Labbé and Claire Romain, had already signed for three seasons. Given the colossal budget invested by TF1, in co-production with Prime Video, and the immense audience success that this adaptation of the manga now represents, this decision is not surprising.
However, no information has yet been revealed regarding season 2. Filming does not yet seem to have started, which could mean that Tam, Alexia and Sylia could only return at the very end of the year. 2025 or early 2026, at the earliest. But since 3 seasons are already on the program, we must see these delays as good news: the three sisters of Cat’s Eyes should accompany us, at least, until 2028. And while waiting for the continuation of this franchise, we can still enjoy season 1, currently being broadcast on TF1 until December 9, 2024.
