Belgium will have to go through France to reach the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 football and it will not be an easy task given the level displayed by the two teams and the history of confrontations in a major tournament.
If we really want to believe it in the Kingdom, on the other side of the border, hostilities have already started, with the match set to kick off on Monday at 6:00 p.m. in Düsseldorf.
In the show Rothen s’enflamme on RMC, Christophe Dugarry did not mince his words regarding what he calls the “poor Belgians” who cause him “a lot of pain”.

The 1998 world champion explains that he “understands the Belgian supporters who are disappointed” since “we have been talking to them for years and years about a golden generation. But the golden generation is starting to no longer be golden at all. And it doesn’t gain anything at all. I found them so sad. They have no legs, no aggression.
For him, there is no doubt: France will win and relaunch its tournament because “these Belgians, even with their backs to the wall, they are incapable of putting in the intensity”.
