They will be there to sign their books. Three authors will in fact be present, Friday July 5 and Saturday July 6, at the Maison de la presse, near the halls, in Douarnenez. But who then?

Friday, it will be Raphaël Mechin, who will present and sign his little tourist guide to Douarnenez. Entitled “Douarnenez- The Legendary”. The work, which has just been released, is full of legends, such as those about the town of Ys, or about King Marc’h, with his horse ears.

Prolific authors

The following day, the Maison de la Presse will welcome two crime writers. Françoise Le Mer will present “L’héritage maudit de Ouessant”, her 24th crime novel. In this suspense novel, “à la Agatha Christie”, specify the Palémon editions, the writer “deploys her talent to explore the psychology of her characters, while plunging us into the secrets of the mysterious islands of Ponant”.

The same day, Alex Nicol will sign “We Killed the Venerable”, his 27th detective novel. For the author, the first hero of his novels remains Brittany, who accompanies each of Gwenn Rosmadec’s investigations. This time, the assassination of a venerable member of a Masonic lodge in Quimper occupies the recurring character of Alex Nicol.

Practical

Friday July 5 and Saturday July 6, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Maison de la presse.
