For its first fairthe new president of the Meaux traders’ association, Jonathan Frisina, decided to refocus the event around traders and to put the emphasis on animations.

This year, don’t try to rummage around, there won’t be any flea markets in the city’s pedestrian streets, but a clearance sale dedicated to traders downtown.

Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June 2024, customers will be able to enjoy good deals and especially of many activities implemented by the association, in conjunction with the commerce department of the City of Meaux.

“We have put in place concerts in different places in the city so that everyone benefits,” underlines Jonathan Frisina.

Activities in the Market district and the Faubourg

While the hyper-centre will be closed to traffic so that traders and customers can enjoy this unique weekend, this will not be the case in other districts, for obvious traffic reasons. However, “activities are also planned in the Marché district and in the Faubourg”, assures the president of the traders’ association.

On the program, parades, DJs, concerts, car shows…

In the suburbs, the entertainment will be concentrated Temple Square, which allows the association to close traffic there for greater safety, without hindering the passage of cars in this artery which allows them to leave Meaux. “Place du Temple will be dedicated to families and especially children. They will find inflatable structures and makeup workshops to have a good time there,” explains Jonathan Frisina.
