Florence Laumond, head of the culture department of the City of Niort, unveiled Tuesday June 25, 2024, at the Pilori, the program established for the Niort Dedans Dehors festival.
Niortais Thursdays, the flagship and free summer event in the mutual capital, will take place from July 11 to August 15. On the program: six evenings, rock, rap, electro, soul, pop and reggae on the lawns of the Moulin du Roc, on the banks of the Sèvre.

As for the Cirque d’été festival, it will be in full swing from July 23 to 27, in the city center, Place du Donjon, on the lawn of the Moulin du Roc and in the Clou-Bouchet district, in the ice rink and at the outside. Six free shows, representing all facets of circus art, will be on view.
The Eurochestries (34 free concerts in Deux-Sèvres with 130 musicians) will be held from July 4 to 11.
Funny walking bus
Regarding urban art, the Street Art guided tours will take place from July 10 to 21, Art and Nature will take place from July 19 to August 23. Four guided tours on foot or by bike to discover the exhibitions at the Bernard-d’Agesci museum and the Pilori, as well as the installations on the banks of the Sèvre by artists Fred Battle and Martine Hoyas.
Another atmosphere with On s’jette à l’O from July 12 to August 31 : route along the Sèvre; collective exhibition Passerelles at the Desmit gallery with Emmanuelle Barraud, Martine Hoyas and Anne Vergnault, visual artists who present their unique worlds. The Marais Tour Bus from the Caus’Toujours company will offer a curious guided tour in a funny walking bus. On August 29, 30, 31, the Laps group, scenographers, visual artists, lighting designers, offers light, interactive and fun installations around the Auberge de la Rousille, on the Sèvre, and its banks, forming a journey of light and sound. Finally, with outdoor cinema, four free screenings will be on the menu this summer, in the neighborhoods: My brothers and I ; The banshees of the Indians ; Dog of the breakage ; Elvis.
