In a press release sent to the press Thursday June 27, 2024, Jérémie Patrier-Leitus denounces acts of damage and an attempted intrusion which allegedly took place in the evening, Wednesday June 26, 2024 in Lisieux (Calvados).
“Delinquents scratched around ten cars parked in front and near my home in Lisieux and carried out an attempted intrusion while my wife and my one-year-old son were at home. For my part, I had not yet returned from a public meeting in Mézidon. »
According to the outgoing MP (Horizons), these facts have a link with the legislative campaign. Jérémie Patrier-Leitus is a candidate for re-election in the 3rd constituency of Calvados, for the presidential majority: “After the damage to my campaign posters, I denounce these unacceptable attacks which targeted my family but also my neighbors. Nothing justifies and will never justify such acts in a democracy. »
“I will not give in to pressure or threats and am more determined than ever to defend my values and convictions and to lead a dignified and respectful campaign as I have always done. »
He plans to file a complaint.
