Atmo Grand Est (approved association for monitoring air quality for the Grand Est) informs that the ozone level will probably, for the day of this Friday, June 28, exceed the information and recommendation threshold for the second consecutive day (persistence criterion).

The Strasbourg Eurometropolis has decided to trigger the reinforced action plan against air pollution from this Friday, which complements the prefectural emergency measures.

During an episode of intense or persistent pollution, in accordance with the interprefectural decree of May 24, 2017, the prefect also triggers the alert procedure and implements measures to reduce emissions in the field of transport, industry and agriculture. If this episode of pollution persists, the differentiated traffic system can be put in place by the prefect.
