He took the trouble to respond from Portugal where he is spending a few days of vacation. Armindo Ferreira is no longer director of a training center that has now disappeared, he nonetheless remains coach of the Berrichonne reserves, under a permanent contract.

“Not everyone has left”

If we still do not know at what level the club’s first team will evolve due to the passage before the DNCG this Wednesday, June 26, the club has still set up a reserve which will play in National 3. Who should play in N3 more precisely , depending on the future of the professional team in the coming weeks.

With the closure of the center, several elements of the 2023-2024 season have moved elsewhere. This is the case, for example, of Steevy Mazikou who signed professionally for Bastia (L2), Alan Masuke who joined FC Sochaux, or Nathan Richer who joined Guingamp. The most prominent young people obviously attracted envy. “All the young people had the possibility of finding another clubPrecise Armindo Ferreira, but not all did so and several stayed. Notably Jad Koembo and Mattéo Massy who played all year in N3 with me. »

Doua Dembélé arrives from neighboring Deolois

We also had to recruit a few profiles: “I favored players who had experience in training centers, others who played in National 3, still others in the region. » We thus find an attacker from neighboring Deolois, Doua Dembélé, who seduced the Castelroussins. Among this heterogeneous squad, we even notice the return of a former resident of the center, Georges Tjomb, who knew the French U17 team when he was at Châteauroux.

The date for the resumption of training is set for July 24 and a list of friendly matches (Déols, Vineuil, Blois, Chauvigny) already determined. A coach, a squad, a resumption date… Unlike the first team, the reserve seems to be in working order even if its future is also linked to the events which will occur in the coming days.

They stay : Jad Koembo, Mattéo Massy, Gaëtan Mélisse, Enzo Goes, Yanis Bensaïd, Noa Kouakou, Ilan Thobor, Lévy Akpes and Énoch Simpore.

They arrive : Enzo Tostivint (goalkeeper trained in Guingamp, last season in N3 at Stade Briochin); Antoine Boutain (lateral, in N3 in Pau); Georges Tjomb (midfielder, return to the club); Komail Pikulas Mohamedi (midfielder, trained in Toulouse, last season at Montferrier in N3); Kesley Keita (midfielder, trained at Tours FC, last season at FC Ouest Tourangeau in N3); Doua Dembelé (striker, Déols R1); Moustapha Soumah (forward, Chambray-lès-Tours N3).
