It’s a whole club that can breathe. The National Directorate of Control and Management (DNCG) has not taken any action concerning Olympique Lyonnais. OL’s appearance before the body, initially set for June 12, but postponed pending the sale of the LDLC Arena to Jean-Michel Aulas and the transfer of the Reign, finally took place on Thursday June 27. The owner John Textor and his general manager Laurent Prud’homme were received this morning in Paris by the financial policeman.

A hands-free transfer window

The sales (Bradley Barcola, Castello Lukeba in particular) thus reassured the DNCG. We are far, very far, from the very restrictive measures undergone by the club last year (control of transfers and payroll). The transfer window will thus be able to be conducted by Lyon without having to refer to the authority. Which he has already started to do, with the arrival of Moussa Niakhaté from Nottingham Forest.
