Always at the forefront in terms of innovations and research into the smallest detail, training Visma | Lease a Bike unveiled its new project: the “Control Room”. The principle is rather simple, a sports director will be placed in a van that will follow the race. In this van, he will have access to all kinds of data, such as TV broadcasts, VeloViewer, different data, direct contact with the following cars, but also the use of Artificial Intelligence. A completely new concept in cycling, but which is already used in other sports such as Formula 1. This control center will therefore be used for the first time on this Tour de France.
