Actress and singer Arielle Dombasle released a song on June 25 celebrating the Paris Olympic Games, which start in a month.

Arielle Dombasle is celebrating the Paris 2024 Olympics in her own way. On June 25, the singer released a song entitled Olympics, accompanied by a clip. Taking back the air of Seventh Symphony by Beethoven, who had already inspired Poem about the 7th gradeperformed by Johnny Hallyday in 1970, sings of the “rain of gold medals” that will fall on the Eiffel Tower.

“It was me who put the lyrics to these harmonies,” explained Arielle Dombasle on the Grosses Têtes set.

The singer is surrounded in the clip by actors playing Olympic athletes. “Beautiful athletes, who dance, who unfold in space, it’s something exhilarating.”

Arielle Dombasle will also sing on the forecourt of the Hôtel de Ville in Paris, when the Olympic flame stops in Paris on July 14, before leaving for different departments in Île de France.

Ready to swim in the Seine

“I was chosen to welcome the flame upon its arrival in Paris, I think, on the square in front of the Hôtel de Ville, and it will sleep next to Madame Hidalgo and all the Parisians,” she announced to TV Mag. The singer also declared herself ready to swim in the Seine.

“I’m ready to swim, why not. I’m a great swimmer,” she assured. “It seems that there really was a whole extraordinary purification system. Arielle Dombasle also released an album on May 24 consisting of seven tracks entitled Iconics.
