Several thorny issues surround Antoine Kombouaré’s group during this summer transfer window. One of the club’s most expensive players should not continue his adventure on the banks of the Erdre next season.

Several major upheavals are likely to animate the coming weeks of FC Nantes. In the middle of a transfer period, the Canaries have the obligation to strengthen certain priority positions to keep up with their competitors next season. For their return to competition, the Nantes residents will host Toulouse FC in their home on August 18. Ahead of this deadline, Nantes recruiters are carefully observing possible movements likely to expand Antoine Kombouaré’s ranks. To this end, FC Nantes is preparing to pull out all the stops regarding Matthis Abline. He, who truly figures as the Canaries’ recruitment priority, was the subject of an offer of 10 million euros from the Nantes leaders to their Rennes counterparts. At the same time, one of the executives of the Nantes squad risks being repatriated by his former club.

Sissoko again on Watford’s shelves!

Having played in the English Premier League for nine consecutive seasons, Moussa Sissoko has notably brought joy to Newcastle and Tottenham. During his last season across the Channel, the player trained at TéFéCé played for Watford before being enrolled in the Nantes project in the summer of 2022. Two years later, the story does not seem to be over between Moussa Sissoko and the English club. According to English journalist Adam Levanthal, Watford are reportedly considering Moussa Sissoko to expand their midfield and have already approached the player’s entourage at the start of the summer transfer window. He, whose contract expires on June 30, is one of the highest earners in the Nantes group and has, for the moment, not accepted the proposal to extend the FCN.

Not completely convinced by his Nantes epic, Moussa Sissoko could no longer wear the yellow tunic in the future, at least not that of FC Nantes…
