Traffic and parking information: 6th stage of the Tour de France Thursday July 4 from Mâcon to Dijon

The Tour de France is making its comeback in the department with this 6th stage of 163 km flat from Mâcon to Dijon. The peloton will enter Côte-d’Or via the village of Chassagne-Montrachet and will thus cross the entire wine-growing coast to reach the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy. Departure: 1:35 p.m
Arrival: 5:19 p.m.

Parking
• Mâcon-Dijon Stages: parking for spectators will be authorized along the route, except in areas privatized by the organizer.

Deviations
There will be no local diversions installed. “Large mesh” diversions will be put in place, particularly for vehicles in transit, to completely bypass the sectors where the tests will take place. The roads used by the peloton will be closed to traffic one hour before the passage of the advertising caravan. Traffic restriction measures will be specified in a prefectural decree. For spectators wishing to attend the Tour, access plans to the course and safety instructions will also be relayed during June.

Stopover towns and cities crossed
The runners will leave Mâcon early in the afternoon and then set off on the Côte-d’Orienne roads. They will start in Corpeau then cross Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Tailly and Merceuil. After a quick return to the roads of Saône-et-Loire, the Tour will pass through Meursanges, Marigny-les-Reulée, Corberon, Labergement-lès-Seurre, Pouilly-sur-Saône, Glanon, Auvillars-sur-Saône, Broin, Saint-Nicolas-lès-Citeaux, Izeure, Longecourt-en-Plaine, Thorey-en-Plaine, Rouvres-en-plaine, Fauverney, Neuilly-Crimolois, Sennecey-lès-Dijon, Longvic and will arrive in Dijon.

Watch the finish of stage 6 in Dijon from 5:19 p.m.
The runners will arrive via Chicago Boulevard and will run a final straight line of 800 meters along the Allées du Parc, to the finish line at Cours Général de Gaule.

Activities from Wednesday July 3
• A cycling village
Meet with the Sprinter Club Olympique Dijon (SCO Dijon) at the Darcy garden to take part in activities: skills circuit, demonstration by a trial bike champion, exhibition of old objects…
• An urban bike ride
Go for a great urban bike ride departing from the SCO Dijon stand in the Darcy garden. The route will join the peloton of female cyclists “Let’s give them to the bike” to accompany them on the last kilometers of their stage until the finish line around 6 p.m., at 4 cours Général de Gaule.
