After the discovery of a body bearing stab wounds on the Brézillon wasteland in Noyon (Oise), investigators arrested, in Compiègne, a young couple who admitted, in police custody, their responsibility in the death of the victim. They were indicted.
After relinquishing the Compiègne public prosecutor’s office in favor of the Senlis criminal center, the public prosecutor, Loic Abrial, opened, on Wednesday June 26, 2024, a judicial investigation for murder against a man aged 21 and ‘a 19 year old woman.

This referral to an investigating judge is a continuation of the investigation opened by the Compiègne public prosecutor’s office on May 19, 2024, following the discovery of the lifeless body on the disused site known as “Brézillon” in the town of Noyon, by young people who were carrying out an “urban exploration”.
Autopsy confirms violent stabbing death
The investigations, entrusted in co-referral to the Compiègne research brigade and the Amiens research section, as well as the medico-legal acts carried out by the forensic doctors of the Creil medical-judicial unit and the The Legal Medico Institute (IML) of Paris, made it possible to determine that the victim had died a violent death. During the autopsy, wounds were noted on the body of the deceased, some of which could be compatible with blows given by a knife.
The cross-references carried out by the gendarmes made it possible to direct the search towards a couple of homeless people. They were arrested in Compiègne on June 24, 2024 and placed in police custody. They admitted their responsibility in the victim’s death.
Presented to the Senlis investigating judge, they were both indicted and placed in pre-trial detention in accordance with the prosecutor’s orders. They remain presumed innocent.
