The City of Shawinigan is proud to announce the publication of its first 2023 Annual Report. This review of the year 2023 highlights the achievements and projects of the municipal administration.

Highlights
- Electrification of the municipal fleet, aligning with the environmental objectives of the Corporate Action Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 2020-2030.
- Designation of the Energy Transition Valley Innovation Zone, within the framework of which considerable efforts have been made by our teams.
- Improvement in the strike force of fire and civil security teams.
- Obtaining Healthy Company certification in 2023, highlighting its ongoing efforts to promote the mental health and well-being of its employees.
- Processing of 49,851 requests to citizen services during the year, an average of just over one request per citizen.
And a multitude of other important achievements from all City departments.
