Third edition of the “Durabl’Impact XL” project
The Landes Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee launched the third edition of the “ Durabl’Impact XL », in partnership with the Landes Departmental Council, elected winner in 2022 of the Impact 2024 call for projects launched by Paris 2024.
This project aims to provide new support for the operational implementation of eco-responsible solutions for sports organizations.
For this new edition, a new format will be put in place in order to raise awareness and help as many structures as possible by proposing concrete actions in favor of sustainable development.
Indeed, the CDOS 40 offers Landes clubs and committees a series of thematic awareness meetings to questions of eco-responsibility in sport with a duration of 2 hours in the evening and in video-conference format.
A total of 6 temps around these subjects of sport and the environment. The last will take place differently at the time of the inauguration of the Departmental Sports House in a more user-friendly format.
The 5 times of awareness will aim to shareinformation and tools to make sports practice more virtuous for the environment. During these information times you will be accompanied by associations and expert organizations (CIALFI and Foot Ecologie France in particular) whose main missions are to carry out actions with the sports movement for a more sustainable sport.
Below you will find the themes covered during these information times which will all take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.:
- Reduction and better management ofwaste November 21st,
- Eco-responsibility of the food/catering/beverage management divisionDecember 5,
- Reduction of impacts and emissions linked to travel and transportDecember 19,
- Eco-responsibility of sports equipment and sustainability of sports equipmentJanuary 23,
- Raising awareness and educating the sports movement about eco-responsibility and eco-friendly actionsFebruary 4,
To close, face-to-face time with the various speakers and the Landes sports movement will take place following the inauguration of the Departmental Sports House in the second half of 2025, the objective of which will be to share good eco-responsible practices to adopt within a sports association.
