“Today, people who work hard sometimes earn as much as some unemployed people. It was this injustice that sparked my commitment,” explains Julien Croissant, 20, youth leader of the National Rally for Finistère. The young man is also the deputy of Christel Hénaff, nominated by the National Rally for the legislative elections, in the 1st constituency of Finistère Quimper-Fouesnant-Briec. Based in Landrévarzec, Julien Croissant works there as a processor breeder, within the family poultry farm. “We control the entire production chain, from hatching of the chick to marketing. We, in the agricultural sector, do not count our hours.”

“I have oratorical qualities, I took advantage of that to get started”

Julien Croissant is currently experiencing his first campaign for the legislative elections but his daily life has already been animated, for two years, by his functions as youth manager of RN Finistère. “We need young people to take over. I have oratory skills, so I took the opportunity to get started.” A decision that did not surprise those close to him. “My friends saw me clearly in this commitment.” As the party’s youth manager, Julien Croissant is responsible for contacting new members from Finistère, who are between 18 and 30 years old, and uniting them. “I ask them if they just want to join or if they also want to campaign by participating in towing or pasting operations,” explains the young man who has increased his confidence since the results of the RN in the last European elections. “I was pleasantly surprised. This shows a surge in the population. It’s encouraging and encourages us to invest even more,” he concludes.
