Two brothers aged 10 and 11 were arrested on Sunday June 23, 2024 in Talant (Côte-d’Or), not far from Dijon. They are suspected of breaking into a house to steal money. Arrested and placed in a Child Welfare structure, they will soon be heard by the prosecution.

Two children aged 10 and 11 were arrested for burglary on Sunday June 23, 2024 in Talant, near Dijon (Côte-d’Or). They are suspected of having broken into a resident’s home hoping to find money to steal, reports - Côte-d’Or .

The two young suspects, two brothers according to information from Good public , broke the kitchen window to enter the house. Surprised by the occupant’s return home, they fled. The man alerted the police late in the afternoon.

Arrested and placed in a center for minors

The two children were quickly caught by a police rescue patrol. One of them was in possession of a screwdriver, according to The Public Good, but they had not taken anything into the house. When interviewed, they admitted that they were looking for money from their victim.

The two little suspects were placed in a Child Social Assistance (ASE) center, specifies France Bleu Belfort-Montbéliard. They will soon be heard by the delegate of the Dijon public prosecutor.
