The Créteil leisure center welcomes you for a moment of relaxation with your family, in Val-de-Marne. With its nautical base, its wave pool, its Nature House and its treetop adventure course, it is the ideal setting for having fun for a day in the open air!
The Créteil leisure center or Créteil leisure island, awaits you to enjoy its many activities. Nautical center, wave pool, fishing, running… Open all year round, this 62-hectare haven nestled around the lake of Créteil is a real green lung to enjoy a beautiful green space.
The Créteil leisure center is a green oasis, surrounding a 40 hectare artificial lake which offers a range ofsporting activities, culturaland of outdoor recreation in a preserved natural environment. Formerly a sand pit operation from 1945 to 1976, the lake is today a favorite place for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Good tip when it’s hot, misters are available in the park.
If the bathing is prohibited in the lake by prefectural decree, a beautiful wave pool waiting for you to refresh yourself. It opens to you June 15 to 30, 2024 on weekends then every day from July 1 to the end of August, from Tuesday to Sunday. Be careful however, theentrance to the wave pool will be done this year, only by reservation.
On the leisure center program:
- The children’s kingdom : children aged 4 to 12 have their own kingdom. You can play all day long on the structures, between swings, seesaws, suspension bridges, etc.
- Swimming area : the leisure area of the wave pool allows you to enjoy sunny days in a serene and relaxed space. A 1,310 m² aquatic area with wave pool, 70-meter water slide, paddling pool and water games, around a lawn. Access to the space by reservation allows you to enjoy inflatable games, swimming and access additional services. If entry to the leisure center is free, there is a charge for the swimming pool. Count €9.50 per adult, €7 for 4-18 year olds and €1 for under 4 year olds.
- Nautical space : the nautical base is the ideal place for those who seek to mobilize both physical and intellectual abilities. Sailing, in particular, is a complete activity, ideal for keeping fit, gaining self-confidence, and developing team spirit. Whether you want to rent nautical equipment or take part in supervised activities, the nautical base has something for everyone.
- Picnics and catering : several picnic areas equipped with tables are at your disposal. Numerous catering outlets are located throughout the leisure center, catering for all appetites.
- Fishing : fishing is authorized on the ponds, upon presentation of the fishing license. For fishing enthusiasts, the lake offers a great opportunity with its 42 hectares and a depth of up to 6 meters.
- The House of Nature : the nature house is a documentation center which makes us aware of the discovery of the birds, trees and flora of the leisure center. The Nature & Society association runs workshops, exhibitions, evenings, training and nature outings.
- The treetop adventure : the Créteil Leisure Island offers a treetop adventure course to delight young and old alike. L’Accrocamp Créteil, and its original airborne structure, is located in a pretty natural setting near the lake. This course is ideal for people of all ages looking for an outdoor adventure, whether to entertain the children, take on challenges with friends, or simply enjoy the feeling of gliding down zip lines. This activity combines adrenaline, fun and proximity to nature, all in a safe environment.
