Lisa Lahore is a candidate in the early legislative elections in the Sarreguemines constituency. This is a first in this constituency for the New Popular Front candidate. Already present in the elections in 2022, for the second constituency of Moselle, she is launching into a new fight, in a new territory. Absent on the ground following a tragic family event, she answered our questions by telephone.

I am 23 years old, I have lived in Metz since 2020, I am originally from Saône-et-Loire, I am a first year Master Art student, specialized in cinema and theater, and I have been involved with La France Insoumise since 2021 .
If you are elected to the National Assembly, what would be your priorities?
I think that the priority is really the social emergency, so it involves increasing the minimum wage which automatically increases salaries, blocking prices and also, in particular, the objective of retirement at 60 for everyone. .
Another point that you would like to raise in Paris is student precariousness?
Exactly, it’s when we suddenly see all these queues for food aid. As a student, I know what it’s like to deprive yourself. We really live with stock markets that do not keep up with inflation. The idea is to have a youth autonomy allowance, that is to say, above the poverty line.
Are there any local files reported to you by residents?
So, I hear a lot about cross-border workers, particularly about line problems. More lines should be opened, and more lines especially in different places, diversified lines, and especially lines accessible for people with disabilities. We also offer a rail pass for young people up to 25 years old. We also talk a lot about the communication problem between the German and French authorities, so I think we need an administration that can communicate between the two.
Finally, Lisa Lahore, a few words for the people of the constituency?
My enemy is abstention, because, on the other side, they are going there. The rich go there, they know it’s important to vote in every election. We too, we all have to go, if we don’t go, it’s those who mobilize who choose, even though it’s the only day when we are all equal.
