Nissan has just formalized the upcoming arrival of the N7, an electric sedan designed as part of the partnership between the Japanese brand and the Chinese Dongfeng. According to the Yokohama manufacturer, this launch is supposed to mark the start of a new important stage whose objective is to establish a place in China.

Nissan N7 launched in China

Presented at the Guangzhou Motor Show, which is currently taking place, the N7 is the very first model to be equipped with Dongfeng-Nissan's new modular architecture. A platform developed exclusively for electrified vehicles. With its electric sedan, the Japanese brand promises future customers a particularly “ confortable » and a set of “ smart technologies ».

The N7 has similar dimensions to the Hyundai Ioniq 6 at 4,930 mm long, 1,895 mm wide and 1,487 mm high. Its wheelbase of 2,915 mm gives it a spacious interior. Visually, the sedan has a rather rugged and futuristic appearance. It features Nissan's V-Motion lighting signature. Inside, the infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor.

A new system dedicated to autonomous driving

A chip that offers high computing power for a “ optimal connected experience “. Like most new models, the N7 also has advanced autonomous driving technologies. The Dongfeng-Nissan teams worked with Momenta, a Chinese company at the forefront in this field. The sedan thus integrates a system “ Navigate on Autopilot », the equivalent of FSD at Tesla.

Intended for the Chinese market, the model will obviously be manufactured in China. As part of a plan called “ The Arc », Nissan intends to accelerate the development and export of electrified vehicles from China. Regarding the N7, the first deliveries are expected in early 2025. But the N7 is not planned for the French market.
