Four former SUA players can win the Brennus Shield this Friday: Bordelais Ugo Boniface, Paul Abadie and Antoine Miquel; And Toulouse Paul Graou.

The Top 14 final, which will be held on Friday at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, will have a little Lot-et-Garonnais accent. Four players from SU Agen could win the Brennus Shield.

It is in the squad of the Union Bordeaux-Bègles that there is the largest contingent of former Agenais. There are three to wear the UBB colors this season: Ugo Boniface, Paul Abadie and Antoine Miquel. Of the three, only one should be on the scoresheet: Ugo Bonifiace. The pillar from Casteljaloux, who also played for US Nérac, played in the SUA as a youth team from 2013 to 2016. He should be Jefferson Poirot’s replacement against Toulouse. The other two Bordelais, Agenais Paul Abadie and Dordognot Antoine Miquel, were not on the scoresheet in the semi-final against Stade Français and should not be on the scoresheet for the final either. Paul Abadie played in the SUA from 2001 to 2021. He was a professional at Agen from 2013 to 2021. Antoine Miquel played professionally with Sporting from 2015 to 2019.

Finally, at Stade Toulousain, Gersois Paul Graou should be Antoine Dupont’s understudy in Marseille. In the semi-final against La Rochelle, he played a few minutes at the end of the match. It should be the same in the final against Bordeaux.
