Forecasts that can be feared by the inhabitants. In Haute-Saône, the rains of the previous days caused significant flooding, transforming the village of Breurey-lès-Faverney into a real torrent. “OI’ve never had that before. The rain fell for half an hour, it was very fast and violentexplains Jean Marchal, mayor of Breurey-lès-Faverney. It was flowing everywhere. We have flooded houses, raised roads, the situation is very serious.”

“There was a very big hailstorm, wind, rain, it fell very hard, it rose up to 1m20 in the houses, but it came down just as quickly”says Nicolas, a resident of the village.

In fact, in two hours, the equivalent of a month’s rain fell. In total, around a hundred houses were damaged in this town of 600 inhabitants.
