Five Appamean drivers were qualified for the French BMX Racing trophy which took place in Chartres (French under-15 championship). Only Matis Robert in U 11, Célia Porée in U 13 Girls, and Iban Castille in U 15 made the trip to battle against the elite French BMX riders.

Everyone came out of the heats, which is already a very good result. Matis passes the heats then the 32nd finals and stops in the 16th finals. He will finish 76th French in U 11 this year. A very honorable ranking in a category which has many emerging stars.

In U 13 Girls, Célia Porée also passed the heats and headed to the quarter-finals where she performed well, but the step was too high to go to the semi-final in the last four. She is 30th French in her category.

Finally, Iban Castille in U 15 passes the heats and stops in the 32nd final after some good races. He finished 95th French. The staff is proud of its riders who knew how to wet the jersey and make the colors of Zéro Nine BMX shine at the highest national level. Note that Edgar Sagorin was selected for this competition as a young national referee.

Worthy successor of his mother Marilou Sagorin Riera, national referee. Moreover, she represented the Occitanie regional committee on this France BMX trophy. Finally, the Appamean coach, Edwin Fondrillon was also appointed to train the pilots of the Occitanie regional committee. Proof, if any were needed, that the Zéro Nine BMX Pamiers is very integrated into the regional landscape of this popular discipline.

To conclude, the drivers will end the mid-season with the 2nd round of the Ariège Cup next Saturday. Only Willow Camps will continue the competition, notably on July 6 and 7 in Mours, for a round of the Coupe de France.
