La Poste is preparing for a peak in parcels to be processed and distributed in record time, during the end-of-year holidays. To strengthen its teams, the group is launching this Monday, November 18, 2024 a recruitment campaign for 58 reinforcements in the Gard for management positions. postmen, delivery operators, parcel sorting etc. to be filled throughout the department. These 58 positions are part of a national recruitment campaign with 3,000 positions to be filled throughout the country.
“Between Single Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas, the end of the year represents a real logistical challenge for La Poste, says the group (press release). The daily volume of parcels to be delivered can reach up to 3 million parcels per daycompared to 1.5 million in normal times. To cope with this peak of activity, these 58 reinforcements will strengthen the teams in place, mainly from November to December.”
The profiles sought? “People with a sense of service, rigorous, punctual, autonomous, with a team spirit and good interpersonal skills.” For the postmen, License B is required.
