Ceremony honoring middle and high school students in Agde

The city is preparing to celebrate the excellence and merit of its young students during the 7th edition of the ceremony honoring middle and high school students.

This long-awaited event will take place on Tuesday June 25 at 6 p.m. at the Moulin des Évêques in Agde.

Organized by the Agglo Hérault Méditerranée as part of its Intercommunal Security and Crime Prevention Council, this ceremony aims to promote the academic successes and merits of middle and high school students from Agathois establishments. The distinguished students distinguished themselves in various categories: civic and eco-citizen engagement, technology and science, literature, and sports results.

Benoît Schumann, founder of the “Project Rescue Océan” association, will be the sponsor of this edition.

His association is recognized for its initiatives in favor of preserving the oceans through large-scale beach cleaning operations.

A highlight of this ceremony will be the highlighting of an inspiring initiative led by Agathois youth: the launch of the “Junior association – Go beyond your screen”.

Supported by the prevention and mediation service of the city of Agde, this association allows young people under 18 to organize themselves to carry out their individual and/or collective projects.

No less than 91 students will be honored during this event, in the presence of their teachers and with the help of numerous local partners.

Among them, the city of Agde and its various services, the city of Bessan, the city of Marseillan, the Librairie du Phare in Agde, the Traveling cinema, as well as several sports clubs such as Agde Volleyball, Agde Handball, and Agde English Boxing.

This ceremony promises to be a moment of pride and recognition for Agathois youth, highlighting their commitment and talents in various fields.
