The Saint-Dizier Museum celebrated its 60th anniversary

CULTURE. Wednesday June 19 afternoon, during the Wednesday workshop, the Saint-Dizier Museum celebrated its sixtieth anniversary. Around fifteen children participated in the workshop in the presence of the Friends of the Saint-Dizier Museum, including its president Françoise Le Corguillé.

The session was moderated by Caroline Vincent and Carole Andrieux, cultural mediators. The children, accompanied by a few parents, took part in big games and several workshops with the making of illuminated cards, Merovingian beads and Gallic bracelets. They also made birthday decorations and then, using a booklet, the goal was to find the ingredients for the cake offered by the Friends of the museum.

“The objective of the workshop is once again to talk about history and local heritage through the museum’s collections,” commented Caroline Vincent.

Françoise Le Corguillé praised “the dynamism of the association of Friends of the Saint-Dizier Museum”. An update was made on the activities carried out. The tourist development of the Frouchies circuit with the fountain, the Virgin and the installation of a tourist sign, has just been finalized. The inauguration will take place on October 13, 2024 on the occasion of the European Day of Friends of the museum.

The birthday ended, for all participants, around the cake offered by the Friends of the Museum.
