Coldplay concert in Lyon: shocking images of spectators trapped by the rain

The legendary English pop rock group Coldplay was in Lyon last night for a three-night stop on his world tour Music of the spheres. Fans of the famous quartet therefore only had this small window to see their favorite group in France. Only three dates among the 176 on this world tour are not many, and fans from the very beginning did not intend to miss a single thing.

Rain as surprise guest at Coldplay concert

The many spectators who had purchased their tickets several months in advance were eagerly awaiting their idols. Many of them were present well before the gates opened in order to be able to be in the front row in the pit of Groupama Stadium. It is in fact in the lair of L’olympique Lyonnais that the London group has taken up residence for its three days in France.

However, to the great misfortune of admirers of Chris Martin and his three acolytes, a real deluge fell on the capital of Gaul yesterday afternoon. Precipitation which literally flooded the aisles of the stadium where Coldplay was to perform a few hours later. Videos posted on social networks have also testified to the distress in which the many spectators present for the first part found themselves.

Taylor Swift had similar mishaps

Images which are reminiscent of what Taylor Swift fans had already experienced a few weeks ago. The American singer had indeed had to face in disastrous weather conditions during his visit to Lyon. Despite its recent construction, the lack of a retractable roof is a real problem for this stadium.

Fortunately, the weather decided to be more lenient afterwards and spared the smooth running of the concert. The fans were therefore able to witness at the incredible show of the British group. Hoping that the next two days will be less “Rock’n Roll” from a meteorological point of view only, of course.
