FOUND – Belgian teenager Juliette Goormans who disappeared at the age of 17 has been found near Lyon more than a year later
Disappeared on November 14, 2022 in Verdin, Belgium, Juliette Goormans was then aged 17, and was last seen at a bus stop. After a year and a half of active searching, this Belgian teenager was found in good health in the home of a resident of the Lyon region, the Namur public prosecutor’s office said this Thursday in a press release.
“Juliette Goormans was discovered thanks to the active collaboration of the French judicial authorities and the services of the National Police of Villeurbanne.” The young woman was “free to move around” at the time she was discovered according to our colleagues at Parisian.
After “receiving information”, the police carried out a search of the home where the young woman was living. According to the initial elements of the investigation, she had been living “for a year” and “voluntarily” at the home of the Frenchman where she was discovered.
