Died at the age of 74 in 2007, Jacques Martin would have been 91 years old this Saturday, June 22, 2024. The star of the small screen had taken up residence in a very famous palace on the Basque coast: the Hôtel du Palais de Biarritz. An enchanting, timeless setting full of history which brought back a smile and joy of life to the presenter who was fighting cancer.
Born on June 22, 1933 in Lyon and died at the age of 74 on September 14, 2007, Jacques Martin spent the last years of his life at the Palais de Biarritz hotel.
This palace – created in 1854 known to have been the former imperial residence of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie – which had “restored the taste for existence“according to our colleagues from Figaro. Possessing a Californian swimming pool that “is like a natural extension of the ocean, from which it is drawn directly”the establishment also has “direct access to the beach“, A “solarium” but also a luxury spa.
After his death, the host who married three times – with Annie Lefèvre, mother of David (born in 1961) and Élise (born in 1965), with Cécilia Ciganer-Albeniz, mother of his daughters Judith (born in 1984 ) and Jeanne-Marie (born in 1987) and with Céline Boisson mother of Juliette and Clovis, born in 1994 and 1999 – and who was father of Frédéric (born in 1973), and Jean-Baptiste (born in 1976), fruits of his love with Danièle Évenou, had planned everything regarding his inheritance.
It was his eldest daughter Elise who said more about the will made by her father during an interview with the magazine Gala. “He had done things well, yes.
