Historic walks in Saint-Cloud – Domaine national de Saint-Cloud, castle terrace – Saint-Cloud, 92210

This year three people who have marked History will be honored. Epidemic, cure, disease, symptom, infection, how Louis Pasteur discovered the rabies vaccine in 1880. To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Paris, witness the epic tale of the American soldier, Staff Sergeant Lawrence R Kelly, wounded on August 25, 1944, aboard his jeep going down rue Dailly in Saint-Cloud. In a revolted Paris, Charles X promulgates the Saint-Cloud ordinances aimed at gagging the press. The 3 Clouds troupe offers a walk through the national domain of Saint-Cloud, punctuated by theater scenes evoking significant events in the history of France which took place in Saint-Cloud. There are always several ways to discover history, to bring back from the obscurity of time events, characters, places… The idea is to shake up the formal framework of a classic visit by offering the visitor the opportunity to walk in the park through space and time. Let yourself be surprised by the historical walks which will bring to life exceptional destinies: researchers, heroes and kings, to the sound of a few musical notes. A stroll between architecture, history, music and theater.
