Pascal Bulot was born in Auchy-au-Bois. His parents ran a butcher’s shop, rue d’Hesdin, before moving to Marles-les-Mines. A brilliant student, he studied at the Auchel high school before pursuing law studies. Married to Chantal Deramecourt, veterinarian, he was the father of three children. Pascal Bulot first worked as a notary clerk, before joining forces in 1983 with Me André Bavière to take over the Auchel study, which had an annex in Norrent-Fontes. In 2018, he ceased his activity. The study was taken over by his nephew Richard Bulot.

Founding member of the Auchel Actif merchants association

Municipal councilor in Auchy-au-Bois in the 1970s, he ran in the municipal elections of Auchel in 1995. In 2001, he was elected on Pierre Venel’s opposition list but quickly resigned. At the same time, Pascal Bulot carried out numerous missions. A founding member of the Auchel Actif merchants’ association, he serves as its rotating president when his turn comes. He was still the current chairman of the board of directors of Caisse Crédit Mutuel d’Auchel.

Passionate about history and genealogy

Passionate about history and genealogy, the notary contributed to the archives of the Association for the discovery of a corner of Artois (ACDA) chaired by Pascal Guillemant. He had reconstructed the genealogical tree of his family, going back to the 17th century.e century. Very attached to his native village, he will be buried there. His civil funeral will be celebrated in Auchel.
