Shortly before 8 a.m., this Wednesday, November 13, 2024, firefighters intervened in a road accident that occurred at the Lozère roundabout, in Brains (Loire-Atlantique), south of Nantes, involving a motorcycle and a car who has fled after the collision. The collision occurred shortly before 8 a.m.
The driver of the motoa man aged 52 answas quickly taken care of by the rescue teams.
The victim transported to Nantes University Hospital
L’firefighter nursein collaboration with the Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Service (SMUR) team, medically treated the victim on site before transporting him to the Nantes University Hospital Center (CHU).
The firefighters, numbering ten, mobilized four vehicles to manage the situation.
The incident also required the intervention of the national gendarmerie and the services of the Interdepartmental Directorate of Western Roads (DIRO) to ensure safety and traffic regulation at the scene of the accident. The precise circumstances of the accident are still to be determined.
