This Wednesday, June 19, motorists are preparing to once again face traffic jams and heavy traffic on the Toulouse ring road. But before you travel, find out about the current situation on the roads. Le Journal Toulousain takes stock of traffic conditions live.

It is Wednesday June 19 and traffic jams are setting in from 7:05 a.m. in the west of Toulouse with very dense traffic, particularly on the N124 near Pibrac. These traffic jams mark the start of rush hour in the Toulouse metropolitan area. Le Journal Toulousain follows the evolution of traffic conditions live with Bison Futé.

8 a.m.: heavy traffic in Toulouse

This Wednesday, some roads are busy in Toulouse with dense traffic and traffic jams, particularly in the west of the city. Le Journal Toulousain takes stock at 8 a.m.

  • N124 from Léguevin to Colomiers: 3.6 kilometers of traffic jams;
  • A624 from Toulouse to Colomiers: 1.7 kilometers of traffic jams;
  • A64 from Roques to Toulouse: 6.2 kilometers of slowdowns;
  • A620 from Montaudran to Empalot: 4.4 kilometers of traffic jams;
  • A62 from Croix Daurade to the Sesquières interchange: 4.3 kilometers of traffic jams;
  • A620 from Sesquières to Sept Deniers: 2 kilometers of traffic jams.

7:25 a.m.: traffic deteriorates on the ring road and south of Toulouse

Then, traffic deteriorates on two axes. Motorists are currently driving slowly for more than 5 kilometers on the A64 between Roques and Portet-sur-Garonne. And finally, on the A620, traffic jams also appear for more than a kilometer between Montaudran and Empalot.

7:10 a.m.: heavy traffic at the exit of the Sesquières interchange

There are also many motorists on the A620 between the Sesquières and Sept Deniers interchanges. Many of them are arriving from the North and East of Toulouse, to the point where a traffic jam of more than 2 kilometers has just formed.

7:05 a.m.: first traffic jams west of Toulouse this Wednesday

Finally, the first traffic jams appear a few minutes later on the N124 near Pibrac. The people of Toulouse are now at a standstill for more than 3 kilometers towards Colomiers.

7 a.m.: motorists flock to the N124 between Léguevin and Toulouse

It’s 7 a.m., and for the moment, Bison Futé has not reported any traffic jams or slowdowns on the roads of Toulouse. On the other hand, motorists are starting to flock in numbers to the N124 to the west of the town. There are many of you, particularly between Pibrac and Colomiers where a heavy goods vehicle has broken down on the emergency lane. Be careful.
