A very large fire that occurred on a farm in Rochechouart, in Haute-Vienne, caused very heavy damage during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. Around 500 goats died in the flames which completely destroyed a 2,200 square meter building.
According to our information, the fire started around 12:40 a.m. The firefighters, quickly on site, could only note the extent of the disaster which completely destroyed this farm which produces goat's milk. At 5:45 a.m. this Wednesday morning, the fire was out. 21 firefighters were still mobilized on site to monitor any possible outbreak of flames.
