At 9:35 a.m., SNCF Transilien specifies that traffic is significantly slowed between Juvisy and Corbeil-Essonnes via Ris-Orangis following the breakdown of a train in the Grand Bourg sector: “Plan for extensions in travel times of up to 30 minutes.”
Difficult start to the week for RER D users. This Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the traffic East interrupted between Juvisy and Corbeil-Essonnes via Ris-Orangis (Essonne) following the train breakdown in the sector of Grand Bourg.
Slowdowns towards Paris, Melun and Malesherbes
The incident took place around 8:10 a.m. First announced at 9:15 a.m., the resumption of traffic was adjourned at 10:30 a.m. according to SNCF Transilien.
Another consequence of the train breakdown, traffic is severely slowed down between Malesherbes and Corbeil Essonnes as well as between Melun and Corbeil-Essonnes in both directions.
Train traffic is also very slow between Paris Gare de Lyon and Corbeil-Essonnes via Évry-Courcouronnes in both directions.
According to the line operator, travelers must “plan travel time extensions up to 25 minutes as well as modifications to the transport plan.
