For its Rue’Cambolesques summer evenings, Avenches Tourisme, associated with the Plage des Six Pompes Summer Tour, sees things big. Thursday July 11 and Friday July 12 from 5 p.m., the population will be able to attend a wide range of activities and shows free of charge.
Organized on the Place de l’Eglise and along Rue Centrale, the event will be animated on the first day by musicians and a puppet performance from Cie Lejo. The artists will perform in the street from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. These activities will then pass the baton, at 8:30 p.m., to the improvised musical comedy which will take over the Church Square.
Some changes in the choice of performing arts the next day. Friday July 12, the musical group The BD’s and the Linearty dance performance will entertain the street from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This will be followed at 8:30 p.m. by the show called “Brut” by leading French-speaking Swiss comedians Blaise Bersinger, Yacine Nemra, Adrien Laplana and Donatienne Amann.
Alongside the cultural program, food, drinks and ice cream will be offered.
