This Tuesday, November 12 in Niort is a great day for 48 young people who are beginning their civic service mission in Deux-Sèvres.
These volunteers are hired for a period of 8 months in South Deux-Sèvres. They will work around various themes: fight against the isolation of seniors, disability, health, fight against discrimination, culture, environment, animation and digital technology.
Material assistance
This new 2024-2025 promotion will be followed by the Sud-Deux-Sèvres branch of Unis-Cité.
The purpose of the Unis-Cité association is to lead and develop voluntary Civic Service programs for young people, by offering young people of all cultures, social backgrounds, levels of study and beliefs, to lead as a team during a period of approximately nine months, community service projects. The two axes developed in civic service projects are environmental transition and social transition.
Thus, Unis-Cité provides material assistance, individualized support in the development of a project for the future, and an opening to citizenship.
General interest missions
Each year, the association mobilizes young people in civic service from 16 to 25 years old (up to 30 years old for young people with disabilities) on missions of general interest, while respecting diversity and diversity.
Unis Cité Nouvelle-Aquitaine welcomes nearly 750 young people per year through its thirteen branches (Bordeaux, Limoges, Poitiers, Angoulême, Dax, Pau, Bayonne, La Rochelle, Niort, Rochefort, Bressuire, Royan, Périgueux).
